AT28C64E-25SC offers a 64Kbit of EEPROM which can be read, programmed and erased electrically. The device can be accessed data serially using the Serial Data Input pin and the Serial Data Output pin. AT28C64E-25SC has an inbuilt control logic connected to the chip-enable and the output enable pins that can be used to control the read and write operations. The memory of the AT28C64E-25SC is grouped into 8-Kbyte blocks known as “sectors” which can be selectively erased or programmed while the data stored in the memory is kept. The byte mode enables sequential byte-by-byte programming of the data into the memory.
The device can be written and re-programmed for a minimum of 1000 times during its lifetime.
