The Write operation is done by supplying the start address and data to the address register. The Write operation is enabled by a valid Set Condition (WREN) pulse. Once the WREN pulse is issued, the data is written directly into the EEPROM and can be read after a Write Cycle have been completed. It is recommended that a minimum write time of 1.25ms must be provided in order to guarantee the write operation is successful. It is also advised that a programmable timer halt the write cycle, if the EEPROM is not ready for the write operation, before the maximum write cycle expires.
