<h2>AT34C02CY6-YH-T Introduction and Working Principle</h2><h3>Overview</h3>AT34C02CY6-YH-T is a two-wire serial EEPROM memory, which is a kind of programmable non-volatile memory integrated circuit. It provides a convenient and economical way to store information or software data. It is economical and can store up to 8kb of data.<h3>Application Field</h3>AT34C02CY6-YH-T is suitable for a variety of different applications, for example, network communication components, AV products, automotive electronics, computer peripherals and other embedded systems, E-Commerce products and custom circuit application. AT34C02CY6-YH-T is also suitable for applications such as automated data logging, system control and non-volatile storage for data communication, equipment configuration, system clock etc.<h3>Working Principle</h3>AT34C02CY6-YH-T is composed of two parts: the I/O terminals and the memory array. The I/O terminals include serial data input (SI), serial data output (SO) and a write clock (SCK).Sometimes an X-wire Interface is used to control the memory layer directly, however in the AT34C02CY6-YH-T the I/O is able to interface directly with the memory layer. The serial data input (SI) receives data sent by the master device, the serial data output (SO) sends data to the master device and the write clock (SCK) is used to control the clock rate of signal transmission over the two-wire bus.The memory array is composed of 8KB cells, each of which contains 8-bits of data. To write to the memory array the master device sends data serially over the two-wire bus and the write clock toggles between a low state and a high state for every bit of data sent. When the write clock is low, the data is latched and written to the memory array.To read from the memory array, the master device issues a Read command on the two-wire bus and then receives the 8-bits serial data on the SO line.
