The AT40K20LV-3FQI has a general architecture comprising of the following components: * Fast Logic Cells: The AT40K20LV-3FQI features over 4,000 fast logic cells for building complex logic functions. These logic cells can be used in conjunction with the embedded dual port RAMs, multipliers, registers and IO pins to design powerful circuits. These Logic Cells are optimized to reduce the total power consumption while providing high performance applications. * Embedded Memory: The AT40K20LV-3FQI has a total of over 800 Kbits of memory and a wide range of options for the types of embedded memories including up to 32768 RAMs, 4K * 256 ROMs, 4K * 256 RAMs, 4K * 64 ROMs, and many other combinations of ROMs, RAMs and embedded PROMs. * IO Ports: This FPGA features over 160 general purpose I/O pins. These I/O pins can be used to access digital data and communicate with external electronics. The ports can support input and output in different digital modes, including single-ended and differential mode. * A/D & D/A Converters: This FPGA also offers a wide range of on-chip A/D & D/A converters supporting up to six channels. These on-chip A/D & D/A converters allow the user to interface with various sensor systems, and access data in DMA format for further processing. * Clock Generation: The AT40K20LV-3FQI features on-board clock and oscillator management blocks which allow the user to generate clocks and clock signals at any frequency from 10 MHz to 120MHz, enabling design flexibility. * PLLs: This FPGA also includes on-board PLLs which support highly flexible design with fully programmable frequency and duty cycle. The PLLs are used to generate multiple clock frequencies for the FPGA fabric as well as for other applications. * Fabric: This FPGA combines high speed logic elements, a wide range of I/O pins and embedded memory, offering the user a cost-efficient solution for implementing complex logic functions.
