FPGAs (Field Programmable Gate Arrays) are one of the most important and prolific types of embedded systems. FPGAs are used in a wide range of application fields such as in military and aerospace applications, automotive, medical, industrial automation and consumer electronics. The AT6010A-2AU is one of these FPGAs and it is an application specific/radius entry-level FPGA designed specifically for applications that require high levels of integration and fast processing.

The AT6010A-2AU contains an array of field programmable logic cells and blocks (FPLs) that can be programmed to the engineer or users specification, thus providing a very powerful and flexible solution to various chip level requirements.
