It provides up to 8 channels of 8-bit PWM with hardware dithering and up to 8 channels of 8-bit ADC with selectable gain. It also provides enhanced back-biasing functionality in the analog-to-digital converter which allows reduced power consumption and wide dynamic output range. Furthermore, the device integrates a 32-bit Cyclic Redundancy Check (CRC) hardware accelerator for efficient and reliable data-integrity checking.
