The ATTINY2313V-10PU microcontroller is an integrated circuit chip used to control small and medium-sized projects. It is a low-power, low-cost, and highly capable 8-bit microcontroller chip. The device offers 256 bytes of universal in-system programmable flash memory, 8 channels of 8-bit analog-to-digital conversion, a watchdog timer, pin-change interrupt, and a power-on reset circuit. The integrated circuit also includes a 16-bit Timer/Event counter and up to three 8-bit PWM Channels with programmable period and duty cycle.
Technology
The ATtiny2313V-10PU is based on the AVR enhanced RISC architecture and achieves up to 20 MIPS throughput at 16.5 MHz. ATtiny2313V-10PU has a typical operating voltage of 2.7V to 5.5V. The ATtiny2313V-10PU also features 8K bytes of flash memory, 2K bytes of SRAM and 256 bytes of EEPROM. It is capable of SPI, I2C and UART serial communication.

Working Principle
The ATtiny2313V-10PU microcontroller works by reading the program stored in its internal memory. This program contains instructions which instruct the microcontroller to perform certain operations. When the instructions are executed, the microcontroller moves data from the input ports to memory and processes it. The processed data is then sent to the output ports. In addition to the instructions in the program stored in the microcontroller, other external components such as sensors, transducers and actuators are used to provide input to the microcontroller. The output of the microcontroller is used to control the external components. The microcontroller can be programmed to perform any number of tasks in any order.
