Atmel® ATXMEGA64D3-MH is an 8-bit high-performance microcontroller designed for embedded systems applications. It is a part of the Atmel® AVR® XMEGA family of microcontroller architectures and is based on the industry-leading AVR core architecture. The ATXMEGA64D3-MH has a 64KB of Flash and 8KB of Internal SRAM with up to 32-bit performance. It also features 16K of EEPROM, a 32KB high-speed asynchronous SRAM, multiple DACs and ADCs, a dedicated micro-controller unit (MCU) and up to 8-channel PDM audio.

As well as the integrated peripherals, the ATXMEGA64D3-MH offers a range of external devices for further expansion and customization. The on-chip memory controller allows for direct access to external flash and SRAM devices, and the processor is connected to the external devices via a two-wire Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) or a four-wire Parallel External Bus (PEB). The ATXMEGA64D3-MH can also be connected to external devices or other microcontrollers via an Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) port or a USB host port.
