It provides an output voltage range of 1.25V to 37V with 1% initial accuracy and includes current and temperature protection. Working Principle

The working principle of AZ 1084 S-ADJTRE1 is fairly simple. It works as an adjustable linear voltage regulator by employing three cascaded transistors connected in a circuit. The current generated is transferred from the base to the emitter of the transistor, where it is further modified depending on the voltage and current requirements of the circuit.

The output is automatically adjusted to maintain a desired level of voltage. The voltage is sensed by the voltage divider circuit, where the resistance is used to adjust the output. A differential amplifier then amplifies the potential difference between the two resistors.

The amplified potential difference is then transformed into an appropriate voltage which is applied to the gate of the first transistor. The output voltage of the AZ 1084 S-ADJTRE1 can be changed by changing the resistance of the voltage divider.
