Aluminum electrolytic capacitors, consisting of a number of aluminum foil (anode and cathode) as well as a number of electrolytic paper or plastic film, are the most widely used capacitors in the world. B41041A7156M is a type of aluminum electrolytic capacitor which has been specially designed for applications requiring high performance and reliability. Its main application field is in the area of audio, automotive, aviation, electronics, and medical.

The construction of this type of electrolytic capacitor is quite simple. It consists of two pure aluminum foils with a layer of electrolyte between them.
