The B43305A9227M80 is a radial leaded aluminum electrolytic capacitor with an extended lead length and has a wide range of capacitance values ranging from 2.2 μF to 470 μF. It also has a rated voltage of 16 volts, a tolerance of +/- 20%, and a current pulse capability of 4 amperes. The capacitor is constructed with low-impedance Metallized Polypropylene film for the dielectric and wraps it with aluminum foil for the electrodes. The working principle of an aluminum electrolytic capacitor is based on the physical process of electrolysis. It is composed of two aluminum foils and two sheets of paper-like material placed between them. These sheets are impregnated with an electrolytic fluid, which acts as the capacitor\'s dielectric. When an electric current is applied to the electrolytic capacitor, it causes a reaction between the electrolytic fluid and aluminum, forming a faraday barrier. As the current passes through the capacitor, a positive charge accumulates on one side and a negative charge accumulates on the other side of the barrier. This separation of charges forms an electric field that can store an electrochemical charge.
