Next, the low power control stage is used to monitor the supply voltage of the amplifier and detector. This allows the logarithmic response to be adjusted in order to compensate for variations in temperature.
The combination of the high gain operational amplifier and low power control stage allows the BAS85 to produce an accurate logarithmic response in a wide range of applications.
