BAT54C-BO-G3-18

The BAT54C-BO-G3-18 is part of a family of surface mounted diodes often referred to as Schottky diodes. Working Principle

When an anode and a cathode of a Schottky diode are connected, a reverse-bias junction is created. This reverse-biased junction blocks any current from flowing from the anode to the cathode. The main feature of this diode is its very low forward voltage drop, which is typically around 0.2V. This low voltage drop means that very little energy is required to switch the diode on and off. When the diode is turned on, current can flow from the cathode to the anode, and a small forward voltage drop is observed, making these diodes ideal for use in applications where low power consumption is required, such as power management.
