The BD10IC0MEFJ-ME2 is a two-channel integrated linear voltage regulator from ROHM Semiconductor. It has been designed to work as an internal power supply for Digital Consumer applications with HDMI 1.4, such as OLED displays, HD TV receivers, Digital Audio & Video Players, and Home Theatre Systems. The voltage regulator is suitable for situations where there is little room for a power supply, or when multiple power supply appliances are connected to a single point of power, as in the case of digital consumer products. Working Principle
The BD10IC0MEFJ-ME2 has a simple but effective internal circuit architecture and operation. It consists of an on-chip voltage regulator and a low-voltage regulator and a control logic. The voltage regulator is based on a P-channel MOSFET switch which is controlled by the logic that is connected to the voltage regulator and is powered from the external Vcc supply.The voltage regulator has two input pins, one for the external Vcc power supply and the other for the low-voltage regulation. The low-voltage regulator regulates the voltage to be supplied to the output.
