It is designed to deliver superior performance with low quiescent current and fast transient response. The device can provide an output current of up to 500mA and is available in a wide range of output voltages from 0.7V to 5.5V. It also features overcurrent protection and short circuit protection.< h3>Application Field< p>The BDJ2GC0MEFJ-LBH2 is ideal for applications where a high power supply rejection ratio, a low dropout voltage, and excellent line and load regulation are required. It is suitable for use in automotive systems, industrial/instrumentation systems, as well as medical, healthcare, communication, and consumer electronics.< h3>Working Principle< p>The BDJ2GC0MEFJ-LBH2 is a linear voltage regulator, which consists of two parts: the reference section and the output stage. The reference section consists of a band-gap reference circuit, which provides a stable reference voltage with tight tolerance and low temperature coefficient. The output section is a three-terminal device that regulates the output voltage by comparing the reference voltage with the voltage at the feedback (FB) pin. To maintain the output voltage setpoint, the output transistor is controlled to adjust the amount of current passing through it.< p>The BDJ2GC0MEFJ-LBH2 also has a current limiting feature, which is active at all times.
