When pressure force is applied, the capacitance of the bridge changes, which is used to measure the pressure. Additionally, temperature measurements are made by measuring the resistance of the sensing element under pressure. The analog output generated is then converted into digital form using the 24-bit ADC.The BMP280 digital interface is used to communicate with MCUs and processors. It includes two I2C and SPI compatible communication buses. It features two general-purpose analog inputs for user customization and an interrupt pin.
