Working Principle

In forward bias, the BZX84B2V7-HE3-08 diode works as a normal diode and allows electric current to flow from the positive side to the negative side. When the Zener voltage is reached, electric current passes from the negative side to the positive side of the diode. This is known as Zener breakdown and is what makes Zener diodes unique - preventing the reverse flow of current when the breakdown voltage is reached.

The voltage is adjustable via the main voltage reduction coefficient K, and the main voltage can be set at the specified value through the selection of terminal voltage or resistance, or the setting of current.
