CD4516BNSR is a dual 4-bit up/down binary counter. It is popularly used in logic applications such as counting, timing, suspending and resetting. This dual 4-bit up/down binary counter can be used to store data and control other logical processes as well.

The CD4516BNSR is made up of two separate 4-bit up/down binary counters, both capable of counting different sequences simultaneously.
