The decoder will produce a high signal at the output if only one of the input lines contains a low signal. The multiplexer consists of eight input lines and three select lines, and it will output the value of the selected input line. The active-low enable input is used to disable the output of the multiplexer when it is held in a low state.This device also has an eight input inverter.
