The CD74HCT75M is a quad, inverse three-state latch. The device consists of four independent latches featuring capability for inverting or non-inverting latches configured with independent enable or common enable. The device is designed for 2-V to 6-V VCC operation, making it suitable for mixed Voltage system Applications. The enable controls on the device allow for flexibility when controlling the outputs.

Working Principle of CD74HCT75M
The CD74HCT75M is a four-bit quad latch. Its function is to store and temporarily hold bits or words of data, under the control of two input pins. The latch is activated by applying a low-level input to the Chip Enable (CE) pin. When CE is low, the latches are enabled and the output state corresponds to the input. When the Chip Enable pin is high, the latches are disabled and the latch outputs will remain in the state that they were in before the enable went high. This allows the device to retain the latched data while the chips input is transitioning. The Disable (D) Input pin, when held low, disables all four latches in the device, forcing all outputs to the high-impedance state.
The output of each latch can be inverted or non-inverted. When the Output Invert (OI) pin is held low, the Output Invert pin will override the latch outputs, causing them to be inverted. When OI is held high, or left open, the under side of the outputs will connect the output pins when the device is in the enabled state. The OI pin can be connected to either a common or individual enable. When connected to the common enable, the outputs will invert or non-invert depending on the logic level of the OI pin.
