CDCLVP1102RGTT is a differential input to LVPECL output universal clock buffer, designed for use in computer, communication, and consumer applications. It is ideal for applications requiring low-skew, low-susceptibility clock distribution, bandwidth limitation, as well as multi-gigabit operation in a single integrated package. It is designed for use with both low-voltage and high-voltage logic, and can operate from -0.3V to 4.2V. It has a maximum frequency up to 800 MHz. When provided with a differential input clock, the device can both isolate and divide the input frequency with an internal clock divider.
The device is capable of generating multiple low-skew LVPECL outputs, without any external components. The device also features a selectable internal output buffer, which enables it to drive up to 50 LS loads on the output with no external components. The device features a configurable terminal block allowing users to easily configure the device’s pull-up and pull-down resistors to adapt the device to different applications.
The device’s power-down mode can be selected with an enable input to either disable the part or reduce power consumption when not in use. In addition, the device also has configurable input and output rise/fall times for smaller clock skew. The device also has an error flag output to indicate any potential input clock errors or power-down conditions.
