CDCS501PWR is a low power Clock Duration Calibration System which is used in a variety of clock generators, phase-locked loops (PLLs) and frequency synthesizers. It provides an efficient solution for the calibration of clocks and oscillators with a supply current of less than 1 mA in single-ended mode.

The CDCS501PWR is designed to be compatible with both analog and digital clocks. It consists of a voltage controlled oscillator (VCO), a clock divider, a reference divider and an integrated calibration engine. The VCO frequency is electrically divided and connected to the two output ports of the CDCS501PWR.

The clock divider is a controlled ratio of the VCO frequency and is used to generate an output frequency of 1 Hz to 3 MHz.
