CDLL4493 is a Zener diode. It is a PN junction diode with its breakdown voltage factory-programmed. When reverse voltage is glided across the diode, a reverse current will flow through the device. This reverse current will increase with an increase in the reverse voltage. If the reverse voltage exceeds the breakdown voltage, it will cause the current to conduct and create a voltage drop across the device.
