Gas Discharge Tube (GDT) arresters are transformers that use molecular activity to modulate electronic signals. Produced by a variety of manufacturers, GDT arresters have several application fields and work on the principle of electrical force, or electrostatic induction. CG90LSTR is a type of GDT arrester, developed by ABB, particularly designed for the protection of low and mid-range currents.
