Aluminum electrolytic capacitors are a type of capacitor which is made from an electric double layer of aluminum oxide that is formed on the surface of an aluminum foil. The electric double layer is formed when the plate of aluminum is kept in hydrophobic solution. The electrolytic layer can pass current in one direction. The current then creates a current which leaves an oxide layer on the anode. It is this oxide layer that acts as the dielectric layer in the aluminum electrolytic capacitor. In the CGS331T350R2C aluminum electrolytic capacitors, the dielectric oxide layer is formed in a titanium dioxide (TiO2) powder.

The working principle of the CGS331T350R2C aluminum electrolytic capacitors is based on the Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction.
