Working principle of CKRB4830

This light then hits the photo-detector, triggering the Solid State Relay and allowing electrical current to flow to the load.

The current that passes through the LED is controlled by the signal from the logic input circuit due to the response of the internal photosensor. When the logic input is on, it triggers the opto-isolator which switches on the CKRB4830. When the logic input signal is turned off, the CKRB4830 is shut down. Furthermore, a snubber network is used to absorb the arc produced during the process of turning on or off the CKRB4830.
