Working Principle
The CM1293A-04MR is an unidirectional diode designed to suppress transients that may otherwise damage a sensitive electronic component. The diode is designed to direct the surge away from the sensitive component and allow the remaining energy of the surge to travel through the other side of the diode with minimal losses.
