CMR3-02 TR13

A single-diode rectifier circuit is composed by a single diode in series with a load resistance. The CMR3-02 TR13 is a single-diode rectifier assembly with a 1N4007 diode. Thus, the diode only allows the current to flow in one direction and blocks the flow in the opposite direction. This ensures that the forward-biased diode conducts while the reverse-biased diode blocks the current, allowing only the positive half of the waveform to pass through the diode. Consequently, only the positive portion of the waveform is rectified and all the energy contained in the negative portion is blocked.
