CNW1-7220/GRABASE

CNW1-7220/GRABASE is a high brightness discharge lamp, used mainly in lighting and advertising applications. It is a gas filled, ceramic arc-tube with an outer glass shell. The lamp has a long life and is available in a range of wattages, from 12W to 36W.

In order to produce the light, the CNW1-7220/GRABASE uses electric current to pass through two electrodes sealed into a ceramic arc tube containing an inert gas such as xenon or argon. The high voltage arc produces a small bolt of lightning through the gas, and the heat from this arc generates UV light and visible spectrum. The UV light is then converted to visible light by a phosphor coating inside the lamp.
