One of the most common structures used in semiconductor diodes is the Zener diode, which is distinguished by its ability to create a voltage drop in either direction. Among the popular variants of Zener diodes is the CRZ15 series, composed of models TE85L, Q, and M.

The CRZ15 family of diodes is primarily utilized in regulating, controlling, or clampling applications that require a fixed DC output voltage. These Zener diodes are generally used in circuits involving electrical sources, such as batteries or transformers, connected to a load or output device.
