The CS4351-CZZ/B is a high-performance, low-noise and low distortion multi-bit sigma-delta (ΔΣ) analogue to digital converter (ADC) which provides a single-channel, stereo audio digital system. Designed for digital audio systems and applications, the CS4351-CZZ/B provides a highly efficient solution for digital audio conversion.
The CS4351-CZZ/B features a 24-bit linear delta-sigma ADC architecture which allows a converging resolution of up to 24 bits. It includes a 128x oversampling rate, allowing the signal to be interpolated to the required sampling rate of up to 48kHz, plus a 32-bit digital signal-processing engine for application-specific digital signal processing (DSP) functions. The CS4351-CZZ/B supports sampling rates up to 192kHz and it also contains a 192 kHz upsampling filter which suppresses aliasing artifacts and reduces distortion.
In addition, the CS4351-CZZ/B provides an integrated high-resolution headphone amplifier, line driver, and headphone driver. It also enables up to five independent audio channels, with two stereo analog inputs, one stereo digital input and one mono digital input. It integrates an output multiplexer which allows seamless switching between different audio sources.
