CY3280-BMM is a development kit for low-power, low-field Hall-effect applications. The package combines a Board Mount Magnetic Field Sensor (BMM) with Cypress’s CY3280 CapSense® Development Kit. The kit supports secure, touchless operation in areas where the hygiene and safety of staff and customers is of paramount importance. It is designed to help engineers reduce design time and effort of development projects. The CY3280-BMM Development Kit helps bring new magnetic-sensing applications to the market quickly and cost-effectively.

The CY3280-BMM kit includes the Hall-effect BMM sensor, a development board, configurator software, design files, documentation, and relevant Cypress products. With this kit, engineers can easily configure the operating conditions of the Hall-effect BMM for a variety of production and development applications. The CY3280-BMM sensor has a simple yet robust architecture, based on a microcontroller and sensors with embedded software and algorithms.
