CY74FCT16240ATPVCT is a low voltage (3.3V) logic device that is suitable for providing logic interface communication and buffer services for a variety of applications. It can be used in various applications when a digital signal needs to be buffered from one source to multiple destinations. The CY74FCT16240ATPVCT can also be used for system timing solutions. The strength of the output current is dependant on the size of the transmission gate and its dopant concentration. When an electrical signal is detected from a source to be buffered, the transmission gate will switch on and redirect the current. From there, the logic signals can be received to perform multiple functions.The CY74FCT16240ATPVCT has two buffers in series (bi-directional) comprising of two transmission gates operating in parallel to each other. This arrangement of the transmission gates allow faster transfer of data. The first gate (upper) will enable the data when the enable signal is high while the second gate (lower) will disable the entire block of buffers when the enable signal is low.The CY74FCT16240ATPVCT has a low output transition current so it is suitable for applications where high currents are required.
