It is designed with a rugged, self-cleaning active and a passive layers of silicon silicon on its surfaces which are intended to increase thermal conductivity.The device features an ultra low switching power consumption with low dynamic losses, enhanced surge withstand capability, SIDACtor-type overcurrent protection and soft turn-on/off control.
