DC0232A-D are photoswitch SOP8 packaged type non-inverting CMOS logic power voltage detectors. A unique reference voltage is created using an on-chip bandgap voltage reference circuit, which is completely separated from the output voltage that is detected. This amplifier-type power voltage detector can be widely used in many occasions, such as fault detection of the power supply of microcomputer, protection on a circuit board, low voltage reset circuitry, over voltage protection and warning signal of the voltage level.

Working Principle

The three pins of DC0232A-D are VDD ,GND and OUT. The detection voltage is determined by the reference voltage and a setting resistor connected to VDD.
