The DC1989B-B is a convenient and powerful evaluation board that is used to streamline the process of designing and verifying dc/dc and AC/DC (off-line) switch mode power supplies (SMPS). The DC1989B-B is typically used in the evaluation and design of power supplies ranging from very low power, like 5 watts, up to 7.5 kilowatts in either Application Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs) or discrete circuits.
