It can set up directional protection, according to the applications scenarios, in main loops, side loop, transformer loop, feed circuit and bus bar of distribution network etc.

The product includes a range of overcurrent protection types: short circuit time-delayed directional protective latching, time–delayed directional overload protective, time-delayed reverse current-avoiding protective, lockout fail-safe, differential protective etc. In addition, it can also provide advanced interrupt counter and low-voltage safety alarming features to meet the demands of current power system applications.

Working Principle

DC2DU02L directional overcurrent protection is mainly comprised of directional control block, overcurrent protective block, circuit switch control block and digital control circuit.

The DC2DU02L direction judgment block can measure the voltage signal and analyze the current direction, such as electricity division, main loop electricity division, side loop electricity division. If the specified direction of the current signal matches the set direction, then it is judged as the enabled direction, and it will proceed to the lockout operation; if not, the lockout opetarion will be disabled.

The overcurrent protection block is used for reactive current control and current protection. This product has fault trip signal, overexcitation alarm signal and lockout signal available. The circuit switch control block and digital control circuit are mainly responsible for the controlling and protection of the directional control, and the circuit switch can be opened or closed.
