DC760A is a high frequency low input (100Vac) to high output (360W) switched mode power supply (SMPS) that is used in applications such as LED lighting, white goods, and industrial applications. The DC760A features a wide input voltage range and high efficiency to meet the most demanding specifier needs. The DC760A includes an integrated low-noise EMI filter with optimized high-frequency design that allows for easy filter configurations and accurate control of voltage regulation, line and load regulation, and transient response for optimal power quality. Additionally, the DC760A features protection features such as output over-voltage protection, over-current protection, over-temperature protection, and surge protection.

The DC760A is a multi-mode SMPS that operates at high frequency with a fixed frequency flyback topology. It can be used to deliver DC power or AC power output. The DC760A features a wide input voltage range of 85Vac - 265Vac Single Phase, and a wide output power range from 160W to 360W. The DC760A has built-in low-ripple PFC function, high efficiency up to 92%, ultra-low standby power consumption of 0.45 W, low-noise EMI filter, active Power Factor Correction function, and Zero Voltage Switching (ZVS) topology.

The DC760A is able to provide high-performance and high reliability due to its advanced design. The DC760A uses a buck, flyback or bridge topology with an adjustable voltage and current output. The synchronous buck topology is able to hit a peak efficiency of 92%, while the flyback and bridge topologies can reach a peak efficiency of up to 95%. The ultra-low standby power consumption of 0.45 W allows for higher efficiency. The low-noise EMI filter is optimized for start-up and light load conditions to minimize total harmonic distortion (THD) at the output.

The DC760A has multiple protection functions built-in to reduce component size and cost in the application. These functions include over-voltage protection (OVP), over-temperature protection (OTP), over-current protection (OCP), and surge protection. The OVP protects the power supply from over-voltage due to a fault in the device or application, while the OTP protects the power supply from excessive heat due to an open temperature sensor or prolonged load. The OCP prevents the DC760A from delivering excessive current, while the surge protection prevents against voltage transients.
