This allows the diode to ‘clamp’ the excess voltage and provide a regulated output. By varying the doping concentrations of the semiconductor material used for the diode’s body, the breakdown voltage of the diode can be adjusted.

The DDZ34-7 is easy to use, and can be incorporated into almost any circuit. It’s ideal for use in circuits that require a reliable, predicable, and stable voltage source.
