DEMOBOARD TLE 6365 G is evaluated board used for both DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS applications. The board is a low-cost evaluation tool to quickly and easily evaluate Texas Instruments (TI) power stages and various app notes. It is designed to introduce users to the high-performance features and functions of TI solutions for DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS applications.

The DEMOBOARD TLE 6365 G uses TI’s TLE 6365 G application specific integrated circuits (ASIC) for DC/DC and AC/DC (off-line) SMPS applications. This ASIC family provides a complete solution for designing and executing power stages from low- to mid-power range. It offers integrated high-side and low-side drivers, voltage sense, current sensing and overcurrent protection. The ASIC family provides flexibility to be used for buck, boost and buck-boost (6-18 V input) sections.

The DEMOBOARD TLE 6365 G also provides an optically isolated PWM input for generating the PWM signal. This allows users to connect the power stage to the output node of the controller easily. The board also features an integrated Gate Trigger Circuit (IGTC) to reduce external noise and minimize power-stage interaction.
