The DEMOBOARD TLE 6389-2GV is an evaluation board used for powering DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. It is designed to facilitate the development and testing of DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS, and features dual rails that can generate multiple output signals. It also offers a wide range of switching Frequency and load sharing features.

The DEMOBOARD TLE 6389-2GV is based on the TLE 6389-2GV integrated circuit, which is a highly efficient three phase full-bridge converter IC specifically designed for use in isolated and non-isolated DC/DC & AC/DC (Off-Line) SMPS. The IC incorporates features such as a low start-up current and low power consumption, a full complement of protection functions, flexible synchronization for multiple converters, and a wide range of input and output voltages. It has a maximum output power of 8W and a switching frequency range of 40 kHz to 350 kHz.

The evaluation board features a graphical user interface (GUI) that allows users to easily set up the parameters and monitor the performance of the power supply. The GUI allows users to adjust the following parameters: output voltage, current limit, over-voltage/under-voltage/over-temperature protection, soft-start time, and switching frequency. The board can be configured to either operate as an isolated or non-isolated device and offers various input and output voltage levels depending on the application.

The DEMOBOARD TLE 6389-2GV operates using sensing, control, and a compensator that ensures a stable output voltage. First, the sensing element detects the output voltage and compares it to the reference voltage. Second, the control section compensates for any changes in output voltage and adjusts the phase shift and duty cycle to maintain a constant output voltage. Finally, the compensator adjusts for small changes in the output voltage due to load variations in order to maintain a stable output voltage.
