AS7262 Evaluation Kit is a stand-alone sensor evaluation board and a powerful tool for test and measurement applications. The evaluation board utilizes the AS7262 sensor, capable of measuring visible light (VIS), near-infrared (NIR), and ultraviolet (UV) in one device.The evaluation board consists of a PMOD connection on one side and a microcontroller on the other side. The PMOD connection allows for the connection of other devices such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or any other microcontroller. The embedded microcontroller allows for easy interfacing with the on-board optical sensor. The board also includes on-board voltage regulators, LEDs, resistors, capacitors, and other components that aid in the evaluation of the behavior of the sensor. The AS7262 Evaluation Kit is designed to be a development platform for evaluation, prototyping, and proof-of-concept development of AS7262 sensors. It also can be used to monitor and control various sensor functions. The board can be used to gather large amounts of data and can be used for long-term experiments.The optical sensor can be used for measuring color, brightness, temperature, and ultraviolet (UV) radiation. By using the integrated microcontroller, the sensor is able to make readings at a rate of up to 6 times per second. The on-board LEDs allow for different sensors to be used at different points in the spectrum and the optical filter capability allows for different spectral inputs to be taken into consideration.In addition to the on-board microcontroller, the evaluation board also contains a power supply and a USB connector for connection to a PC. The USB connection allows for the evaluation board to be powered from a PC and easily connected and disconnected for data transfer and programming. To use the evaluation board, users first need to connect the board to the supplied cell phone power adapter. The board will then be powered by the cell phone power supply.
