DG333ALDW is a wide range of digital controlled quad user-selectable analog multiplexers IC. It is used as an interface between a digital signal processor and an analog signal, providing signal amplification and signal routing, enabling users to switch between analog signals. The DG333ALDW consists of 4 individual single-pole/double-throw (SPDT) analog switches, each with a very low off-state impedance.
The working principle of the DG333ALDW is that it switches between the input signals, which are routing to an output signal depending on the control signal that is applied to the device. The input and output signals for the device can range from 0V up to 6V, as well as being able to work with a peak input power of up to -30dBm for the input signals.
Digital control of the DG333ALDW is provided by three control signals, each of which control two channels. The first control signal is used to select the two channels on the first side, while the second and third control signals are used to switch between the two channels on the second side. The device also provides protection against overload and reverse polarity.
The DG333ALDW application field includes: audio mixers, digital audio systems, radio receivers, GSM, ISDN, and VoIP systems, and multiple channel selection applications.
