The DG409CJ+ range of product is a family of monolithic CMOS analog multiplexer ICs (Integrated Circuit) designed for a variety of applications. They are expansively used for analog signal switching, signal multiplexing and demultiplexing applications.
In a nutshell, the device is a type of single-ended reflective analog multiplexer which contains two channels of 4:1 input multiplexer, one 4-bit binary address network, a 4-bit latch and an output buffer with a single output. The DG409CJ+ is capable of switching single-ended analog signals, including offset voltages and currents up to a peak of 5mA.
The component has four inputs and one output. The data sheet of the component indicates all four inputs are equipped with independent signal conditioners providing precise input matching with external reference tests. The component also has an on-chip voltage reference with temperature compensation.
The application field of the DG409CJ+ component varies from signal conditioning for DACs, ADC, Signal Generator, Buffer, DAC Switching and multiplexing, audio and video switching, DC signal switching, level shifting, signal routing and amplifier stages.
