The DG442DJ is an analog switch i.e. multiplexer, demultiplexer and differential switch. It is a low capacitance, low-voltage analog multiplexer/demultiplexer primarily intended for telecommunication applications. This type of device allows data to be routed from multiple sources to multiple live destinations that might not share a common ground.

The DG442DJ features an on-board latch and contains two low-impedance analog switches and a single differential input. The differential input provides a low impedance path which facilitates fast switching of the device.
