The DG445DJ interface - analog switches, multiplexers, demultiplexers, are high-speed, high-reliability semiconductor devices ideal for providing a broad range of signal routing solutions to systematically evaluate and route various analog signals. The DG445DJ provides an easy-to-use, cost-effective, versatile 5-IN / 2-OUT device.

The DG445DJ has multiplexer capability, allowing up to five analog signals to be routed through two independent outputs. The device provides low voltage operation, low total harmonic distortion (THD) and excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). The device is designed to provide a maximum output amplitude of several volts using a minimum number of switches, thus minimizing the effect of signal degradation due to switch parasitics. In addition, the design helps preserve low-level signal integrity, enabling the analog signal to be accurately transmitted.

The DG445DJ multiplexer works on the principle of analog-to-analog switching or multiplexing. The multiplexer switches between multiple analog input signals and routes them to their respective outputs. The multiplexer includes two TTL control inputs (A0 and A1), which control the status of the switch. When A0 and A1 are Low, the first input is routed to the output. When A0 is High and A1 is Low, the second input is routed to the output. When A0 is Low and A1 is High, the third input is routed to the output and so on.
