DG642DY can be used as an electronic switch to control or isolate signals between two components, such as on-chip or off-chip/board Analog-Digital converters(ADCs). It is also an ideal solution for use in medical, industrial, consumer, and automotive industries that require ultra-low off-on capacitance, robust protection switching, and excellent power saving design. The device is most commonly deployed in signal routing, data protection, and multi-pair applications.

DG642DY\'s Working Principle

Inserting a voltage at the control port of the Linek DG642DY device is what enables the switching process. When that voltage is a HIGH control signal, it switches the circuit from one ground to the other – allowing the signal to be switched form one connector to another. The device is capable of enabling low on-resistance, low off-state current leakage, ensuring excellent signal isolation and enhancing power-saving performance.Furthermore, the DG642DY offers a wide range of temperature operating range, between -40℃ and 125℃, while still maintaining low power supply and low on-resistance with minimal influence on the load circuit. Furthermore, DG642DY supports a wide range of power supply with its low \'Off\' current, as well as a high input impedance which allows it to be used in sensitive circuits. In addition, the DG642DY switch also supports bi-directional switching. The same adjusting voltage at the Control port is what enables Switch 1 forward and the Switch 2 Reverse direction to be controlled independently, allowing the switching action to flow in both directions. Moreover, the linek DG642DY analog switch provides excellent electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection from ground voltage, allowing it to be used in all applications where ESD must be considered. The device is capable of a 2000V ESD protection from control pins to ground, which helps protect sensitive signals from static electricity discharges.Drastic current backlash protection is another critical feature of the Linek DG642DY device, adding yet another layer of protection and enhancing stability. When a vast and sudden amount of current passes through the device, the in-built current backlash protection feature triggers and the gate voltage arrives at 2~3V, and the ESD protection voltage rises to 4~7V, cutting off the sudden surge of current to prevent it from distorting the signal and damaging the device.Overall, the Linek DG642DY device is an advanced and reliable analog switch that requires only a low ON-state resistance and low OFF-state current leakage while delivering superior signal routing, data protection and multi-pair solutions.
