Gate drivers are integrated circuits that control the gates of power transistors. They allow microcontrollers and other digital circuits to switch power transistors on and off. When the gate of the power transistor is in a high potential (logic 1), the gate driver will draw an increased current and the power transistor will turn on.The DGD0507FN-7 has two control pins. One is the Enable pin and the other is the PWN (Pulse Width Modulation) input pin. The Enable pin controls the operation of the driver. When Enable is high, the PWN input is used to control the switching frequency and the power output of the power transistor.The DGD0507FN-7 is suitable for a wide range of applications and has a high level of performance, reliability and safety. It is an ideal choice for driving gates of power transistors in passive mode.
