The DPA425G-TL is a special-purpose voltage regulator in the power management integrated circuit (PMIC) family. It is integrated with several components, including switching regulators, linear regulators, regulators, comparators and logic, which are designed to step up, step down, and level shifting of power voltage to manage power within a specified range. It is designed to meet the need of applications requiring large power output capabilities without exorbitant heat gain.In a typical application, the DPA425G-TL can provide a regulated voltage of up to 28V and current up to 25A. Its main function is to convert an input voltage, adjust the output voltage to within a preset range, and keep the output voltage from varying due to input voltage or load variations. When the sense voltage drops below the reference voltage, the FET turns off and no current is supplied to the load.When operating in both linear and switching mode, the DPA425G-TL can provide smooth, regulated voltage and accuracy over wide variation of input voltage, load, and temperature. It also has low quiescent current and high efficiency due to cutting-edge MOSFET technology. With a maximum power dissipation of 25W, the DPA425G-TL is suitable for applications when LDO regulators alone are not enough.The DPA425G-TL can be used in numerous applications, such as lamps, LED lighting, portable electronic devices, and other industrial driving applications.
