The DS26514G+ is an Inter-Integrated Circuit (I2C) bus transceiver with low power and high speed capability designed for the replacement of the standard DS26514G in existing or new designs. The DS26514G+ is ideal for applications requiring high speed and low power in a small package.
The DS26514G+ features low power consumption, high speed performance and up to 1Mbit/s noise immunity. The addition of the new low current Sleep Mode means the DS26514G+ is suitable for battery-powered applications. The DS26514G+ supports two-wire I2C bus slave and master communications, four-wire system level signals and single-ended I2C bus clocks.
The DS26514G+ includes a programmable clock prescaler and a hardware addressing capability that supports up to 128 different slave addresses. It provides two-wire Start and Stop conditions, two-wire buffered data bus, programmable I2C bus acknowledge reply, error detection and reporting, Autonomous Wakeup from Sleep Mode, and a programmable Clock-Stretch capability for up to 1Mbit/s maximum data rates.
